In this tour you will go through the historical path of Kerman province. Kerman has been host to many citadels and fortresses as it’s been one of the most important trade centers in Iran. In this one day tour you will be picked up at your accommodation location. The first destination will be Mahan city 30km away from Kerman city and it takes half an hour. In Mahan you will see Shazdeh garden one of of the nine Persian gardens on the list of world heritage sites. This beautiful garden is always amazing in any season. In Mahan we will also visit the mausoleum of Shah Nematollah Vali a very well known and highly respected Sufi who was buried in Mahan in almost 600 years ago. The architecture of the site has a lot to present. Then we will go to Rayen 90km away from Mahan and it takes almost one hour. In Rayen you will visit the beautiful adobe citadel. You could have your lunch in Rayen or let it be for Bam. After Rayen the next destination will be Bam city. It’s 90km of road driving and it takes almost an hour and half to get to Bam. Bam has been host to civilization since 6000 years ago not to mention many historical sites and the rich culture behind it. The adobe citadel of Bam is also a UNESCO world heritage site and our next visit. The place is also known as the biggest adobe complex in the world. The best time to visit the citadel is by the time afternoon as the weather is cooler and the sunlight angel provides the best shots for photographers. After visiting Bam citadel we will head back to Kerman city. This part of the journey takes more than two hours. In this tour you will have almost 450km of road driving.
